Tonight, we had fish tacos. While not everyone is a huge fan of fish, they have loved pan fried fish in the past. Of course, tonight was NOT that night. So after eating my fish taco with salsa and guac, I left the table. That is right. I walked away and left them to figure it out on their own.
I guess I am just done with people who do nothing to get ready for dinner complaining. I enjoyed dinner. It was so yummy and very healthy. I cook most of the time for my whole family but tonight it was just for ME (apparently)!

LoL alot of times my husband isn't crazy about what I cook- even when I love it! I say oh well if you don't like it then make a sandwich! I only make one meal and sometimes I cook stuff for you that I don't love so you can sacrifice too! My parents ALWAYS had the rule that if you don't like what they cooked you could have a sandwich (that you made yourself) or nothing. I hate seafood and they love it so there were many nights I didn't eat...didn't scar me so I figure why not use the same rule?!
ReplyDeleteThere was one time I cooked fajitas from frozen precooked chicken (right after we were married) and I guess the chicken had thawed some while moving and then refroze- I don't know but it was like mush after I cooked it. My husband had already started eating when I sat down and took a bite and spit it out. It was so gross!! He didn't want to hurt my feelings (like I said- we were just married so he cared back then LOL) so poor guy suffered through and ate a whole fajita til he saw me spit my bite out. I still laugh about that!!
